$1000 Summer Mural Deal for 5 South Dakota Schools: Read On
A number of South Dakota communities have run into school budget constraints making large professional murals a difficult expense. An idea worth considering is getting your PTO's or Booster Clubs involved or have a local business sponsor the mural which your whole community will enjoy. At this $1,000 price most South Dakota schools can afford to get a fantastic mural on their wall.
The $1,000 Mural Deal does not include my travel expenses, paint supplies or the securing of a lift. Also, it is the responsibility of the school to provide hotel lodging if needed. Most murals are completed in 2 or 3 days.
The first 5 schools that sign on to this one time deal for the Summer of 2015 will get the $1,000 price. I will book the first five schools on my calendar up to Labor Day 2015. During the school year my pricing goes back to the standard rate of $25.000 per square ft.
To Consider: The average cost of a professional mural is $25.00 a square foot including several hundred dollars for design time not including artist travel and supplies. It is not uncommon for a simple school mural to run $5,000 to $10,000 dollars and even much higher for out of state designers. For a 10ft. x 12ft. mural at $25.00 a square foot the average cost would be $4,000 not including $300.00 for design and other expenses.
